Motorcycle Repair: 1100 Dragstar custom maintenance, fluid reservoirs, rear brakes

I have an 1100 yamaha dragstar trike and a few questions about basic maintenance.  There is no dip stick, so how do I check engine oil levels?

The transmission is noisy... what could be causing that?

Does brake fluid for front and rear brakes go in different places?

Hi Isa,

Check for an oil level peep window on the engine cases. Keep oil between the lines with the window.

I would need to hear the noise you described. Consider having a local shop listen to it. It may be normal sounds associated with transmissions. It may be early indication of a problem.

There are separate master cylinder fluid reservoirs.
