"has been sitting since 94 the carb was blocked and have now clearsd and is now running .
revs great when idle but when on the move it loses power on accelaration i'm told it could be the points or atu but don't know much about this i am an engine carb man and have no idea. could you tell me how to get to these items how to check them and how to set them up please.

Hi Daz.
 Start by checking that carb for any bad/torn/cracked rubber in any of the seals, particularly the one at the piston valve in the carb.

Then check your valve gap and timing and ignition timing.

As long as the carb has been properly cleaned and there are no intermittent shorts in the ignition system, it only leaves the above possibilities.
