Motorcycle Repair: TB 400 honda Forks, tb 400, tb400

My friends have a trike with Honda forks, in trying to find out how much oil goes into each fork they called two different shops and the info was extremly different. Can you help? Thanks so much. Jan

Jan, you gotta be specific about the origin of the fork assemblies. No such thing as a TB400....
There were CB400F models made in 1975-77.  160-165cc dry fork and 145-150cc on a refill

There were CB400T models made from 1978-83.  140cc for all models except CM400E which took 135cc

Different bikes, different fork fill specs...
