Motorcycle Repair: suzuki gsxr shock, suzuki gsxr 600, motorcycle usa

Question
i was wondering if you could tell me if i could switch out a stock 1993 suzuki gsxr 600 shock with the seperated reservoir with a newer shock that does not have that reservoir.  the shock has blown its seals and it is more expensive to rebuild it than the cost of a new newer shock... and the cost of a new shock w/ reservoir is astronomical... any ideas?  help!  jason

Answer
Hi Jason,

Many GSX-R parts are interchangable. I don't know if that specific application applies or not. I haven't taken the measurements or made the comparison before.

Try posting the question ofn several message boards dedicated to motorcycling or GSX-R's.
