Motorcycle Repair: blown fan fuse, honda magna, radiator fan

Question
I own a 1985 Honda Magna V45.  The radiator fan fuse is continually blowing, I assume when the fan engages.  I would guess that I have a shorting problem somewhere?  How best to proceed?

Answer
Hi Tom,

Have to find the cause. Check the circuit with a multi-meter and 12VDC tester. Check continuity or wiring, fan motor winding, themo-switch, fan switch, check everything in the circuit. Check multi-connectors for water and/or corrosion. Lube connectors with dielectric grease prevents water shorting and lessens resistance.

I can email you test files. Need an email addy as requested.
