Dear Sir, i own a suzuki 1998 GSX-R 750 and the problem is that it starts fast when Cold and when it gets hot at around 60 F and above its cranks very slow as if the battery is dying , i changed the battery , and replaced the starter still..
Please kindly help with this issue
Answer -
Hi Paul,

"It cranks very slow as if the battery is dying..." Is this a new fully charged battery?

"I changed the battery and replaced the starter still..." Is the starter a new part?

Any history of repairs or mods would be helpful. Include your email address as requested. I will return repair info files if necessary.

well yes , its a fully charged battery .the bike has only 5000 km on the clock , well we changed a headgasket , kind of experienced that after ..
the way it cranks is like slow then kind of picks up then like a short , but then the horn sounds.. like somekind of load. checked the electrical charging everything seem fine .. the starter is form another used engine but checked the bushing they are new ..

Answer
Thanks, Paul

I am having trouble understanding what is happening. It's one of those problems that you must be there to see for yourself.

I'll need to know the results of cylinder compression and leak-down tests. Can you do these and give me the readings? We'll go from there.

Respectfully,
Mark
