Motorcycle Repair: 2000 suzuki intruder 1400 clutch replacement, clutch replacement, suzuki intruder

I dont have the tool to hold the main assembly in place while loosing the main nut to remove the clutch assembly. any suggestions other than buy the tool? also any tips on removal, I have a manual but never replaced a motorcycle clutch before. Thanks for the help.

Hi Rick,

There's a vice-grip type universal clutch basket holder tool available. Have you seen this?

or

Put the trainy in 2nd gear. Use air impact to remove nut.
