Nissan Repair: pleaee help

I had my alternator belt tightened by the mechanic at work. Now the tachometer, wipers, power windows, warning lights on dash dont work.

Hi Keith -

What probably happened was when the belt was tightened, a tool must have touched the power terminal of the alternator and blew a fuse.

Check the large amp fuses first. Open the hood, fuse box is located on the fender well driver's side. All the large circuit fuses should be there.

By right, you should take it back and have the mechanic do it free of charge.
