Nissan Repair: turbo

Question
I had no idea which category to ask this, but you might know. If two cars have the same amount of horsepower, but one has turbo and the other doesn't, is the turbo car faster?  Thanks

That is what the design is. Turbo is supposed to force the air through the intake faster, providing a better burn for the air fuel mixture, in turn supposed to provide more high end power than a similar vehicle with the same HP.

Of course, all is contingent upon whether the engine is at is fullest potential to perform.
