Hi would like to know where is the obd port lcated and is it compatible with obd2. Engine light is always on and having rough idle  and immeiately turns off. Thank you

The port should be under dash driver's side. 2001 is an OBD2. Although your device could fit either OBDI or OBDII, the codes may be different, so ensure you follow the OBDII format.
