Nissan Repair: Auto hub, manual hubs, nissan pathfinder

Hello I live in Canada and have a 1985 Nissan pathfinder. The auto lock hubs will not engage ?? .
It seems the transfer case is engaging but not the hubs .
They are  NOT manual hubs .

hi on the UK version the problem lies behind the auto lock hub and if you take it off there is a large nut i think it should be around 32 mill if you tighten this nut but not too much it should come good failing this try a good dose of grease as it may be all that is required
