Nissan Repair: D21 Power Steering Pump, competent mechanic, power steering pump

Question
Is it hard to replace this part? How much do you think it would cost to get it professionally installed roughly(part in-hand or parts ordered)?

Answer
Hi Alexander

Replacing the pump is relatively simple. However the new pump usually does not come with the pulley so you will need a special press to remove it and install on the new pump. That said you might opt to take it to a competent mechanic.
Part in hand I would say about 150 labor including press work.
Hope this helps
