Nissan Repair: nissan terrano, nissan terrano, fusible links

Question
QUESTION: i have a 01 2.7 Nissan terrano. Just the other day i left the ignition on by mistake the next evening when i went to start it it wouldn't so i pulled started it. then the next day i noticed that the dash instruments weren't working . how can i fix this ??

ANSWER: Hello -

Are you saying that the instrument lights do not go on, AND the engine does not start?

Or it starts, and the instrument panel does not light up?

If it is the latter, did you check the dimmer knob? Could have been turned down by mistake -

QUESTION: No it starts and all lights are working but the speedo , rev count, fule gauge , etc are not working
I have checked all the fuses none of them are blown
I hope you can help . thanks

Answer
Hi -

Please check the wires connected to the battery. There are "fusible links" there that might have blown. best way to check these wires is to get a 12V probe light tester.

Other than that, the only other thing is to check power to the harness for your instrument panel.
