Nissan Repair: 94 Pathfinder, forward gears, nissan pathfinder

I have a 94 nissan pathfinder. All of a sudden I have no reverse. The forward gears seem to be just fine no slipping. I checked the fluid, seems to be okay. Any suggestions on what I can try before I take it to the shop

Hi Phil -

I have had a couple vehicles with similar issues in the past, and remedied both with an additive called AT-205. Carquest sells it here in hawaii, but I guess you can Google it. In both cases the reverse gear revived and to this date still works (change the oil first).

Might be worth a try before the overhaul.
