Nissan Repair: VARIOUS ELECTRICAL, nissan pathfinder, memory circuit

Question
I HAVE A 2003 NISSAN PATHFINDER AND I AM EXPERIENCING THE FOLLOWING ISSUES
A. POWER LOCKS, HEADLIGHTS, READING LIGHTS DO NOT WORK UNLESS KEYS ARE IN IGNITION AND TURNED TO WHERE THE BATTERY IS BEING USED OR THE ENGINE IS ON.  THIS INCLUDES KEYLESS ENTRY AND MANUALLY CLICKING THE POWER LOCK BUTTON

B. EVERYTIME I TURN THE CAR ON AND OFF BOTH TRIP A & B RESET THEMSELVES

C. EVEN WITH THE KEYS IN THE IGNITION AND THE ENGINE TURNED OFF THE READING LIGHTS, DIGITAL CLOCK DO NOT TURN ON

OTHERWISE CAR RUNS FINE..

ANY SUGGESTIONS...I HAVE ALREADY REPLACED ALL THE FUSES JUST IN CASE

THANK  YOU

Answer
Hi Miguel

I would try to check the fuses/relays that are located under the hood, on the fenderwell of the car. It seems to me that you have lost some kind of memory circuit that keeps power to certain components.

Clean the battery terminals, and check connections to each wire leading from it.

Hope this helps -
