Nissan Repair: 85 nissan 300Z air conditioner, nissan 300z, check valve

My AC turns to heat regulary when I accelerate hard (seems vacuum related) and not just warm air, hot air. What could be causing this? The hotter the day, the more likely to happen.

The computer turns off the compressor when you accelerate hard.  So, if the air is getting hot it could be that the vacuum canister has a defective check valve too.  The compressor turning off is normal.  But, the getting hot air would be a vacuum check valve.
