Nissan Repair: nissan urvan 83 sliding door, nissan urvan, auto body shop

hi & THANKU for yr time. Im In australia but would appreciate any advise. being a lady i get ripped off so hope u could help. the sliding door was open & i hit a small object with the door. it will not close now unless i use much effort. just wondering how to go about fixing it. seems i've bumped it upwards. it still runs along the runner but very roughly& won't close fully as i mentioned. any advise would be gladly accepted. I will try to assist as much as possible. Please understand that it is difficult to diagnose this when I cannot see the damage, as is contingent upon the exact angle of impact, speed, and what type of object.

I would assume that either the roller bracket got damaged (bent), or the track misaligned. Since the door is hard to operate at all positions, I would think the bracket got bent, especially since it will not close. Could be as simple as replacement of the bracket, or repair. In any case the best way is to remove the door and either bend the bracket back to the original configuration, or replace with a new one. Any competent mechanic, or auto body shop would be able to take care of this.
