Nissan Repair: Fuse issues, cranks, taillights

I am currently have issues with my car not starting.  I had the fuse for the dashboard gauges blow twice within in an hour and my car now will not start.  I am not real sure where to start.

I am also having issues with the taillights not turning off and in order to get them to go off I have to take the fuse out.  I am not sure if this would be related.

Sorry for the delay, the problem seems to point to a shorting out component, more likely a wire. If your car doesn't start is it because the motor doesn't crank, or is it because it cranks but it won't fire up? I don't have enough information here as to what model and year car we are talking about. Please be more specific and I also need to know if this problem suddenly occured or some work was done on the vehicle prior to this. Thanks.
