Nissan Repair: 97 Pathfinder SE Hazards, key fobs, bcm

I have a 1997 Pathfinder SE.  I recently reprogrammed the key fobs and now the hazards flash randomly.  It doesn't matter if the car is locked or unlocked.  I have searched to figure it out and get it to stop.  The only thing I can think of is to disconnect the battery for a few minutes.  Any help will be appreciated.

Disconnecting the battery will clear the memory of the BCM and the ECU. But the problem could come back if there is an issue. Probably a combination of numbers that the security system doesn't like. Try reprogramming the fob to it's original configuration and see if that takes care of the problem. If not, and depending on the security system type,
the BCM has to be reprogrammed also.
