While driving at 55 plus. My rpm's would jump from 2500 to 3500. Just every so often. Like the transmission was slipping. Now it stalls at a low rate of speed, stopped, or in park. And sputters and jerks while driving mainly at 35 mph or higher. Idle's in park for a min or two. Thens stops running. Pls help. Thanks anthony.

Hi Anthony

First thing I would do is a tune up if you have not done so already. This includes spark plugs, wires, and checking the coils if so equipped.

If the problem still persists, then the fuel pump should be checked.
