Chevrolet Repair: Clogged radiator, coolant water, rusty brown

Question
I believe my radiator is clogged but I'm not sure. I believe it is because I went to get a drain and re-fill today but nothing came out when the took the drain plug off. I have rust colored coolant/water in the coolant fill container. What should I do and what do you think might be the problem?

Answer
It sounds like there is alot of rusty buildup at the petcock.  You may need to poke a hole through the area with a wire or similar tool.  When your coolant is rusty brown ther really is no way to ever make it look green again.  Your best bet is acid flush with prestone acid flush kit available at your local auto parts store. Make sure to follow the directions.
