Nissan Repair: front boot, hardbody pickup, shaft

I have a rip in my front boot on a 1992 4 x 4 hardbody pickup. How much work is this going to be for me and can you give me any advice.

Hi Mark -

I would suggest that you replace the entire half shaft. You will need to remove the axle anyway, so might as well replace it with a new one. They are not that expensive these days, and you will save yourself a good amount of labor.

I am assuming you are knowledgeable with the replacement, if not. let me know, and I will give you general guidelines.
