Nissan Repair: pathfinder - vulnerable systems, risk area, key hole

had my pathfinder broken into last night and it seems nothing was taken or damaged ( high risk area - could be homeless person sleeping in car ). are the key entry easy to pick? there is a kind of sheath between the glass and the metal of the door so I can't see a coat-hanger fitting down there. and the key doesn't open the lock on the passenger side door.

Hi Simon -

If there is no evidence of forced entry in the key hole, then the only other way is with a pick kit, only available to locksmiths, and it take a bit of talent.

The other relatively detection free way is a slim jim, but you will probably see some smears on the windows.

No way they can get it with a coat hanger.
