Nissan Repair: Regarding scan code p 1605 and what part is needed., nissan altima, competent mechanic

Hi I am Sam and my car is 1996 Nissan Altima and it is very very good in condition but yesterday all of a sudden there is a check engine light on and when I take off the car that means when I completely stop and move it moving very slow like it got stuck but after that when it reaches 20 mph then it speed and everything gets normal and the rpm is very high it never did this to me and i got this scanned it the result is P 1605.

Hi Sam -

Code 1605 has to do with the automatic transmission and its communication with your ECM, or the car's computer. Seems there is a disconnect somewhere.

Best way to repair this is take it to the dealer or a very competent mechanic, as it takes a certain level of expertise to diagnose and remedy.
