Nissan Repair: 02 nissan pathfinder headlight & foglight problem, turn signal switch, nissan pathfinder

hi, i have an 02 pathfinder and one day i was driving then my buddy in the
other car told me that my foglight on the passenger side was out. next day
i was puzzled coz my co worker told me my passenger headlight was out.
i checked all the fuses and bulbs and they're fine. its just the lowbeam
that dont work. somebody please help me. thank you

Hi Jay -

Do you know if you are getting power to both fixtures? Turn the headlights on and check the leads both to the headlight, and fog light. The headlight should have 2 of the three wires "hot" when you have the high beams on. Use a 12V light probe type tester.

If you are getting power to the unit, then it could be a bad ground, or the socket, assuming the bulb is OK.

If you are not getting power, then it probably is the turn signal switch.

Are you getting power to the fuses?
