Nissan Repair: 1997 pickup wiper motor, cowl area, tight fit

Trying to replace wiper motor in 1997 nissan pick up. Is there an easy way to get t orear of motor for linkage assembly. Removed glove box but still see a lot of "stuff" in the way. There is only a small hole in firewall that arm runs through in engine compartment. Any assistance greatly appreciated

Hi Jim -

Yes, it is a tight fit through the cowl area above the firewall. I think this is what you are speaking of? This is how you will need to access the motor.

I know it is tough. I have never seen one that was easy to get to.
