Nissan Repair: 02 nissan Quest, mass airflow sensor, nissan quest

HI. I have a 02 Nissan Quest and its missing and acting like it wants to cut off. you can take your foot off the gas and it will  pick back up. but i don't have speed od or miles od don't work.
we where having problems a mouth ago and got a tune up plugs wires and rooter button replace and the speed work and can was fine. There telling me it the computer and to just get another car. please help have not money to get or fix this car

Go to Autozone or Checker and get the codes read and see what they say.  I would think the mass airflow sensor or even a converter before I would say the computer.  But, to know for sure get the codes read.  Also, I would go to a different shop if their solution is to get another car.
