Nissan Repair: 93 Nissan Sentra, nissan sentra, meijers

I have recently acquired this vehicle and every time i start the car it will run for about 5 - 10 min and then it will quit...now the person that i have recently got it from said that he had taken out the older battery but he replaced with a battery from meijers.....I was wondering if you could give me a few pointers on what i should do

Hi Brandon -

There is a whole plethora of things you will need to check. I will try to walk you through the major ones. I need to know if you are able to start the engine right away after it dies. this is very important for the diagnosis. Please get back to me.

Right off the top of my head, I would check the fuel pump delivery. Also check the ignition module located in the distributor.

However, please get back to me with my answer and I will take you to the next step in diagnosis.
