Nissan Repair: O.D. light on & van hesitate, d light, shift lever

what does it mean when the od light is on and the van hesitates when i press on the accelerator.

Hi April -

I don't know what model and year your van is, however "OD" means Overdrive. There should be a button near your shift lever that will put it in OD when you need it on the highway, supposed to save on gas. Try pressing that and the light should go out.

If not, can you please give me more info on the make model and year of your vehicle?
