where to check trans and transfere case fluids 1995 Nissan 4x4 xe pickup with 5 speed trans.

Hi Richard -

Both fluids are checked and filled through a hole in the housing about halfway up on the side of the trans, or transfer case. You will need a wrench to remove the plug, and then stick your finger in to check the level. If you can touch oil, then the level is fine. Normal level is even with the hole.
