Question
The light has gone out on the indicator light for my cruse control off/on, located on the dash next to the mirror controls.
Do I have to remove the entire dash face plate in order to get at this switch and repair it?

Answer
Daryle,

If the cruise control light is the only thing that does not work then the cluster would have to come out to get to the back of it to replace the bulb.  Pull the knee bolster under the steering column by removing the screws that hold it.  Then, remove the two bolts that hold the column up to the dash.  The steering column will drop a little, enough to get the cluster out.  Remove the screws that hold the trim on the cluster.  Now, remove the four screws taht hold the cluster.  Remove the connectors that are attached to the back of the cluster and remove it.  Radio Shack has the bulbs for half of what the dealer charges.  Just take it down and get it matched up.
