Nissan Repair: 1987 Nissan Pathfinder Heater Blower Motor, nissan pathfinder, heater blower

Question
I just replaced heater blower motor and now there is hardly any airflow coming through the vents. I hooked everything up just the way it was. What could be the problem of low air output? The fan gauge that has the 1-2-3-4-on it works, it even makes louder air sounds when I move the switch lever.

Answer
Tamara,

If the blower speed changes and the air does not come out with much force then you are looking at a stuck door or the blower fan is not installed correctly.  That is, if it runs backwards like the wires were reversed then the blower is not going to move air.  Check the blower out by removing it and holding it by the base and running the fan.  Reverse the wires and see how it does.
