Nissan Repair: Nissan Pathfinder rear caliper removal, rear caliper, nissan pathfinder

Question
I have a 1992 Pathfinder SE 4x4. The rear calipers came loose and one broke a mounting bolt. I want to remove the caliper to fix it and then put them back on. Since these calipers are the 'swing away' type only one bolt has a head for a wrench. The bolt on the upper mounting point looks to have a cap on it and there is no way to unscrew the bolt that the caliper swings on to remove the caliper.
Is there a way to tighten that swing bolt?  And how does it get removed?
Or, is the caliper and mounting bracket (where the pads go) one unit that must come from the factory?

I hope this is clear, Please help.
Richard.

Answer
Rick,

The pivot point pin is fixed.  You have to remove the torque member, the part the caliper bolts to, to remove the caliper.  I am of the understanding that the bolt that normally is removed is the broken one?  Have you tried an easy out?  Otherwise, removing the torque member and getting it in a vice to drill and bolt extract would be the way to go or just a replacement of the torque member.
