Nissan Repair: 02 Sentra Window Motor, nissan sentra, silicone spray

2002 Nissan Sentra - Driver front window moves up slowly. Often does not go to top. Sounds like motor is straining. How do I diagnose motor or other problem? How does door panel come off?

Take the door panel off and lubricate the assembly.  Where it slides use silicone spray and grease in the gear assembly.  To take the door panel off use a flat blade screwdriver and pry the panel from the bottom.  Before you do this pull the plug from the door handle and take the screw out and then pop the opener handle trim off and then finish prying the panel loose from the bottom to the top on the front and back side.  Also, on the back there might be a screw on yours.  Take your time and you will see if there are extra screws.  If you want to get really detailed photographs and instructions for $20 bucks you could go to nissanusa.com and download the .pdf manual for your car.
