I want to know how do install a ignition lock cyclinder for a 1993 nissan altima gxe?

The airbag has to be disabled first.  To do this disconnect the battery, remove the airbag fuse, remove the knee bolster and column cover and disconnect the yellow airbag harness.  Now, drill out the two shear bolts that hold the ignition cylinder in place and remove the cylinder.  Replace your old cylinder and install new bolts.  Reconnect the harness for the airbag and repalce the knee bolster and cover.  Replace the fuse and reconnect the battery.
