Nissan Repair: 2000 pathfinder blower motor, fan switch, blower motor

Question
what would cause the blower motor only to work on high. will not work on the other 3 levels. when you turn on the fan switch you can hear the a\c unit kick on.

The blower resistor is shot and needs to be replaced.  Purchase the resistor and you will know what it looks like.  It is located on the blower case, pasenger side, behind the glovebox.  Well, removal of the glovebox makes it much easier to access.
