Last couple of days my '05 Altima while off and in the garage for the night will randomly(throughout the night)beep one time as if I am locking the doors with the remote. When I check the vehicle the doors are indeed locked. What is going on? Is this an indicator sensor or remote problem or etc? Otherwise,car is in perfect working condition! I love it! Please help. Thanx.

Hello -

Looks like the car is receiving a signal from the transmitter in your remote. When the vehicle is in the garage, where is your remote? Is it near the car? try this test - once you park the car, store the remote far enough from the vehicle where it is out of range to lock or unlock (this may even be at a neighbors house).

If the car does not beep, then I would take the remote to the dealer for reprogramming or inspection.
