Nissan Repair: Nissan Pathfinder 97, nissan pathfinder, forward gear

I have Nissan Pathfinder '97 with 120k on it. Yesterday, it started producing noise that made me suspect exost sistem may have a problem. Upon review, exost system looked fine but car would not go into reverse gear.  Upon warm up, car can maintain forward gear.  Transmition fluid is pinkish to clear and does not smell burnt.  What am I looking at regarding repair and cost?  Othervise car is in good condition.  Much appreciate your response.

You need to drop the transmission and renew the seals and clutches.  The following is a link for the parts.  Under $200 bucks for the parts but it is a chore to disassemble, clean and rebuild.
