My oil pump was not pumping oil to the engine and i replaced it but still not working. It doesnt even reach the oil filter

I would make sure the drive mechanism is connected correctly. Next, disassemble the pump and pack the gears with grease.  Also, make sure the pickup tube is sealed properly.  If not, the pump will suck air and never prime.  Lastly, make sure the bypass is not stuck open.
