Nissan Repair: Nissan Altima Window switch, nissan altima, fighting fires

Question
Hi.  I have a 1998 Nissan Altima and the front driver side window will not roll up but it will roll down with no problem once we eventually get the window back up.  We have been having trouble with it for at least a year now.  The other windows work fine.

I've read a similar question on here but I would like detailed instructions as to what I should do and where can I go (a local mechanic? the dealer?...).
My husband is out of county fighting fires and he won't be home for weeks.  I need to get it fixed and I need detailed instructions as to what I should specifically ask to get fixed.  I don't want to "taken".
Thanks so much for your time.  :)

Answer
Jan,

Replace the master switch on the driver's side door.  rockauto.com or courtesyparts.com

All that you have to do is pop the plastic cover out of the door handle, on the inside, and remove the screw.  Then, lift the handle assembly up and the switch will come up with it.  Disconnect the cable connectors and remove the assembly.  Remove the screws holding it to the trim plate and install the new switch.  Then, reinstall the new assembled panel, switch and all to the door panel, after plugging it in.  Reinstall the screw and put the cover back over the screw.
