I own a 96 nissan altima and i like to know how to remove the head liner it has a sunroof.

The headliner is put in before the windshield, front and back.  So, you will end up with a difficult task of removing the headliner.  Remove the visors and clips.  Remove the trim around the sunroof opening.  Remove the trim around the tops of the doors and the front and back glass and then it is going to be interesting to get it out one of the doors.  The front passenger door is my favourite since it has room and no steering wheel to get in your way.
