Nissan Repair: 00 xterra rear quarter window replacement, nissan xterra, mechanic friend

I was lucky enough to have my back two windows shot out by hunters. I have a 2000 Nissan xterra V6 4x4. I need to know how the large rear stationary quarter window is installed. A mechanic friend of mine and I got the rear motorized window done ok but the large window in the far back is the one we are not sure of. I have a replacement via salvage so I would prefer to do it ourselves if at all possible. We haven't taken out the fractured glass yet. Do you have any instructions or advice you could offer to us? You will notice the adhesive that holds the glass in since it was shot out?  Anyway, this is a difficult window to remove without breaking it.  If you are lucky enough to get one from a wrecking yard, already removed it is a matter of getting synthetic adhesive to glue the new one in along with the detail trim.  Several glass companies will do this for cheap considering the difficulty.  You could get the glass and have them do the install...
