Porsche Repair: My 1986 911 crank but wont run, dear dave, electrical connection

The car is 1987 911 carrera non turbo, wile I was driving  the car had a sudden lost of power and the engine died in the middle of the road towed the car back to home do some research to identify the problem I start by the plug and i hade a spark when cranking the motor but no run.
The car was running never gave any warning never stall never had difficulty to start all maintenance are done by the book car have 113000KM
on the clock and feel very robust, can you shade light up my problem,and if you need more info just let me know.

It would be helpful to get a bit more info...after you stalled...you probably tried to re-start where you were, right?  I assume you just cranked and cranked and nothing at all happened, right?

If the above is how it happened, it sounds like an electrical connection came loose...especially a ground wire at or near the coil or ignition control unit.
