Nissan Repair: 95 Nissan 240sx, nissan 240sx, control cylinder

The check engine light had come on and has been stalling out and shifting very hard so I took it to Advance Auto and had them read the check engine light codes. They said it was several different things, EGR valve;Knock Sensor- had a circuit malfunction???? And what they said was probably the main reason the car would not stay started was a Pressure Control Cylinder.Before I go and spend money I don't have on parts I may or may not need... Does that sound right???

Yes to the first two.  The EGR and the Knock Sensor will both cause the car not to run properly.  Replace them both.  Second, you would need to elaborate on the Pressure Control Cylinder thing.  This does not sound like a normal code. Perhaps they could clarify this one.  Email me back for more.  But, do get the first two corrected.
