Nissan Repair: Nissan Maxima Airbag Light, nissan service manual, nissan maxima

Question
I noticed in one of your questions you mentioned that you have had 98 Maxima airbag lights come on and stay on after an airbag deployment. I had a side airbag deployment and have replaced the airbag but the light did not go off. What did you to to get the light off? Replace the sensor or airbag module?

Answer
Colby,

The airbag module still detects that you have a deployed airbag.  The system needs to be reset.
