Nissan Repair: draining fuel, fuel tank, fuel pump

If I just purchased a fuel pump and was put on and now I have to drain the fuel tank do I have to purchase another fuel pump system, it was put on a week ago and car really has not ran properly yet also the same with the filter.

I would first change the filter before I thought about changing the pump again.  If you want to drain the tank have a person with a fire extinguisher to prevent an accident.  But, the filter should be changed first.  With the filter off this would be the place to drain the gas.
