Nissan Repair: nissan 350-z, nissan 350 z, wont pop

My gas cap "or panel" wont pop open via the button to the left of the steering wheel, do you have any idea what might be wrong?

Either the door is jammed or the electrical switch is not working.  The cable can get bound up and that causes the probem most of the time.  Check the fuse.  To get the door open, for now, pull the little tab cable under the rear sport brace.  In the middle, to one side, underneath, you will find a tab held up by velcro.
