98 altima what is the trick on getting the cover off,how many bolts

Timing cover Hi James -

I am attaching a photo of the timing cover. You will see how many bolts hold it down.

You will need to remove the damper pulley, and lower the oil pan to get the cover off, besides whatever is restricting the access for removal.

Don't forget to replace the round seal, and use some kind of silicone when replacing the cover at the gasket.
