Nissan Repair: overheating, generic instructions, fan switch

Question
radiator nor condensor fans will come on. fuses are good. power to coils on all three relays. power to contacts on all three relays. jumped out contacts on all three relays and no help. can't believe both fan motors would go out at the same time.

Answer
Hi Michael -

Believe it or not, it happens a lot. Not so much that they both go out at the same time, but more like one is already broken and not noticed til the other one goes out.

That being said, I would check the power to the fan motor at operating temperature (or with the A/C on). If you have power there, then the motors need replacing.

It could also be the fan switch, which should be located on the radiator somewhere. I am sorry, i did not get the year, make and model of your vehicle, so I can only give you generic instructions.

Hope this helps -
aloha
