Nissan Repair: 93 maxima electrical problem, hanes manuel, winter in canada

Question
in my hanes manuel it says that the fuse that keeps blowing is fuse #20 with a 10a fuse.  it has to do with my rad fans, blower motor, and now i discovered my cruise control.  i have disconected each component and tried the fuse but it keeps blowing.  i have also tested the fuse with a meter and it says that i have 12 volts of power on the one side (white with red wire) and the other woth the ohm meter reads off the scale when touched to the body.  its winter in canada now and the blower fan would be nice to have.

Answer
Charles,

Pull the fan relay first and see if the fuse does not blow.  If that does not work then try the cruise control relay.  These are under the hood.  The blower motor, itself, should be on a seperate circuit.  And, if you disconnect the blower motor it should not blow the fuse.  If your blower is not working and the blower motor itself works then the resistor that feeds power to it has failed.  That is under the dash, passenger side, on the blower case.  Remove the glovebox to gain access.
